Many parking appeals are written as a plea — explaining why someone was running late, or that they only stopped for a minute, and asking the council to be lenient. That approach rarely engages the actual grounds on which a fine can be cancelled.

Beat It was built on the opposite idea. A parking fine is a legal process, and legal processes have rules the issuer has to follow — deadlines for serving notices, wording that has to appear on the ticket, signs and lines that have to be correct and lawful. When the issuer gets one of those wrong, the fine can fall. We find those errors and build your appeal around them.

You scan your ticket or type in the details. Our system reads it, checks it against a large, continually-maintained database of documented appeal grounds drawn from real parking law and tribunal decisions, and scores how likely a challenge is to succeed. If there are grounds, it writes a formal appeal in the correct structure for your authority and, where the channel allows, submits it on your behalf.

Every appeal is grounded in real, citable law — for UK Penalty Charge Notices that means the Traffic Management Act 2004 and, for private tickets, the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, alongside the relevant regulations and tribunal precedent. We do not invent circumstances or fabricate evidence; we surface the genuine procedural and legal grounds that apply to your specific ticket.
