1. What we do
Beat It ("we", "us") provides an AI-powered parking appeal service. We analyse your Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) or private parking ticket, generate a professionally written appeal letter based on UK parking law, and submit it on your behalf to the relevant authority or parking operator.
By using this service, you appoint Beat It as your agent for the sole purpose of submitting parking appeals. We are not a law firm and this is not legal advice. Beat It operates as a document preparation and submission agent only.
2. Pricing
- Free scan: Uploading your ticket and receiving an AI-generated win-probability assessment is completely free, with no account required.
- Individual (pay-as-you-go): £3 entry fee to file a single appeal, plus a £7 success fee charged only if the council or operator confirms your ticket has been cancelled. No subscription required.
- General public (subscription): £3 per quarter per vehicle (£1 per vehicle per month, billed quarterly). A £3 success fee per appeal is charged only when an appeal succeeds. For individuals and households.
- Fleet (100 or more vehicles): £3 per quarter per vehicle. A £2 success fee per appeal is charged only when an appeal succeeds. For working fleets. Idle vehicles auto-pause after 90 days without a ticket, so you never pay for an unused quarter, and resume automatically on the next fine.
- If you don't win, no success fee is charged — ever.
All prices include VAT where applicable. Billing is handled by Stripe.
3. No guarantee of success
We do not guarantee that your appeal will be successful. Appeal outcomes depend on the individual circumstances of each case, the issuing authority, and factors outside our control. Industry data suggests 40–60% of well-argued appeals are successful, but past outcomes are not indicative of future results.
Our AI provides an assessment of your likely success based on the information you provide. This is an estimate, not a promise.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your ticket and circumstances.
- Not submit fraudulent, misleading, or fabricated information.
- Ensure you are the registered keeper, driver, or an authorised representative of the vehicle in question.
- Inform us promptly if you settle or pay the ticket independently after we have submitted an appeal.
Providing false information may invalidate your appeal and could constitute fraud. We accept no liability for consequences arising from inaccurate information you provide.
5. Refund policy
- Pay-as-you-go (£3 entry): Non-refundable once an appeal has been generated and sent. We can only refund the entry fee if the appeal was never sent on your behalf — for example, due to a technical fault on our side.
- Subscription (£3 per quarter per vehicle): Non-refundable once a billing quarter has started. Cancel at any time to prevent future charges. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing quarter.
- Success fees (£7 / £3 / £2 per win, by plan): Only charged when your ticket is confirmed as cancelled. Non-refundable, as they correspond to a confirmed outcome delivered.
6. Agency disclosure
When you subscribe, you authorise Beat It to act as your agent for the specific, limited purpose of submitting parking appeals. We will communicate with the relevant authority on your behalf using the details you provide.
We are not legal advisors. Nothing on this website or in any appeal letter we generate constitutes legal advice. If you have a complex legal dispute relating to a parking ticket, you should seek independent legal counsel.
Our authority to act as your agent is limited strictly to the appeal submission process and does not extend to court proceedings, tribunal representation, or any other legal matter.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing us at support@usebeatit.com. Appeals already in progress will be tracked through to a decision at no extra charge.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Beat It shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including unsuccessful appeals or enforcement action by parking authorities.
Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Changes to the service
We reserve the right to modify pricing or service features with reasonable notice. Material changes to pricing will be communicated by email at least 30 days in advance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Not legal advice
Beat It is a document preparation and submission service. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice, legal representation, or creates a solicitor-client relationship. Appeal letters generated by Beat It are based on publicly available parking law and statistical patterns — they are not tailored legal opinions. For complex legal disputes you should consult a qualified solicitor or legal professional in your jurisdiction.
This applies in all countries where Beat It operates, including the UK, Ireland, and the United States.
12. Intellectual property
All content, software, algorithms, databases, appeal templates, knowledge bases, design, and trademarks on this platform are the exclusive property of Beat It and are protected by copyright law, database rights, and other intellectual property laws in England and Wales and internationally.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, scrape, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Beat It platform without express written permission.
