Leased or hired vehicle
My lease company has billed me for a ticket.
This is the most common way people with a leased or hired vehicle find out about a parking ticket: not a letter from the council, but a charge from the lease company. Sometimes that charge is the fine itself, paid on your behalf, plus an admin fee; sometimes it is only an admin fee because they passed the ticket to you and the council will write to you next. The two need different letters, so tell us what the bill shows and we'll point you at the right one.
Beat It is a form-preparation service, not legal advice. Whether a paid ticket can still be challenged depends on what the council sent, to whom, and when — we tell you honestly which position you are in once we have the ticket number.
