Scotland uses different parking appeal rules

Parking enforcement in Scotland works under different rules to England and Wales. If a Scottish council gave you a ticket, you must appeal through the Scottish system — not the English one. You make formal representations to the council first, and if the council denies them you appeal to the Transport Appeals jurisdiction of the First-tier Tribunal for Scotland (General Regulatory Chamber), which took over from the parking adjudicators on 1 April 2020. Keep the record. Keep what you sent, the attachments, any receipt, and the reply. Note the next deadline.
