More Than One Daily Fine in a Scottish Clean Air Zone

In Scotland, a Low Emission Zone (a designated area where older, more polluting vehicles are restricted) can only issue you one penalty charge notice per zone per calendar day. If you have been issued more than one penalty on the same day for the same zone, the extras are unlawful.

Legal basis

LEZ (Scotland) Regulations 2021 reg 14

How to identify this in your case

Two or more PCNs same vehicle, same LEZ, same calendar day.
