Idaho Code §49-410 Disability Plate / Placard Defense

Idaho Code §49-410 issues disability placards and plates. §49-213 grants the holder the right to park in any space designated for the disabled. Boise §10-15-12, Pocatello §11.36.130, and Coeur d'Alene §10.40.080 grant free metered parking up to 4 hours for placard holders. ADA Title II overrides any contrary local rule. Citations to a vehicle properly displaying a valid placard are dismissed on production.
