21 Del. C. §2135 / §2136 — Disabled Parking Privilege
21 Del. C. §2134-2136 grants vehicles with valid Delaware disabled plate or placard the right to park in any disabled space and to park free of charge at metered spaces (subject to reasonable time-limit observation). Where the placard was held but not displayed at time of citation, courts and Wilmington PVB routinely dismiss on production of valid placard.
Legal basis
21 Del. C. §2134, §2135, §2136; 21 Del. C. §4182 (penalty for misuse)
