Clear Path Relief Program — Income-Based Debt Waiver
Chicago Municipal Code §9-100-170 (in effect 2022, expanded 2023): low-income debt waiver, fine waiver, penalty waiver. Eligible: household income ≤300% FPL OR enrolled in Utility Billing Relief Program OR enrolled in Administrative Debt Relief Program. Pay base fine amounts for last 3 years over 24-month period, and ALL OTHER DEBT (older tickets, penalties, collection costs, immobilization fees except impound release) is WAIVED.
