Legal basis

NJSA 39:4-139.8; Municipal Court Rules

Sample appeal wording

I am requesting an extension of the appeal deadline for Citation #[TICKET#] due to improper notice. I did not receive timely notice of this citation because [EXPLAIN: ticket blew away / was not properly placed / mail delivery delayed / etc.]. I am requesting in good faith to contest this citation. I request the court exercise its discretion to allow this late appeal.

Replace [PARKING DATE], [NtK DATE] etc. with your own dates before sending.
